IMPORTANT NOTICE
On Wednesdays LoRefugi Gastrobar closes for a weekly rest. On Wednesdays check-in at LoRefugi must be arranged and done before 4pm. Dinner will not be served on Wednesdays.
From January 13 to 17, 2026, both inclusive, LoRefugi Gastrobar will be closed. Therefore, there will be no dinner service and check-ins must be arranged in advance.
THE HOUSE
LoRefugi is an old manor house, located in the heart of Cornudella de Montsant, which due to its characteristics and dimensions has been largely preserved. Its long history is reflected within its walls. Memories of years gone by share space with the new faces and new experiences that are currently being lived there.
The four-story building has different spaces so you can enjoy a fantastic stay without missing anything.
In addition, it has several rooms to accommodate different groups: Siuranella (2 people), Albarca (2 people), Gritella (4 people), Mussara (8 people), Montsant (10 people), Siurana (marriage), Obaga (2 people).
The common areas of the house are the toilets, the showers and the dining room. The latter is a very spacious space and ideal for meeting with colleagues, having a good conversation while playing a board game and toasting with a glass of Priorat wine. In the dining room there is a kitchen area free of shelter (a marble one with sink and fridge).
All facilities have hot water and heating (19º), therefore, there is no need to suffer from cold winter days, since the warmth surrounds us and allows us to enjoy Priorat all year round.
SERVICES
KITCHEN SERVICE
We offer homemade menus based on the typical and traditional cuisine of our area, incorporating some modern dishes. We adapt to the needs of our customers: vegetarians, celiacs, allergies, etc. For groups we offer à la carte or buffet breakfasts. You also have the option of eating à la carte at LoRefugi Gastrobar .
LOCAL PRODUCTS
We work with local and seasonal produce. We collaborate with small producers in the area and in the summer we have our own vegetable garden!
GROUPS
If you have something to celebrate and you are a good group, we are at your disposal to organize your stay.
CLIMBING GUIDES AND ROUTES
We have updated climbing reviews, information on routes to do on foot or by mountain bike and we can advise you on itineraries that you want to do independently.
FREE WIFI
All LoRefugi facilities have free Wi-Fi. We also have charging points for laptops and mobile phones.
BICYCLE PARKING
We have ideal spaces to leave your bicycles. We also have a cleaning area and a small workshop with basic tools for emergency repairs.
PRICES AND CONDITIONS
– Sleeping: €18
– Dinner: €15. The menu consists of a first course, second course, dessert, bread and water (no choice of dishes). Menu changes will have a €3 supplement.
– Sheets, blankets and pillow rental: €4.00 (only paid once per stay)
– Pillow rental: €1.00 (only paid once per stay)
– Towel rental: €1.00 (only paid once per stay)
– Crib rental: €6/night
NOTES
On special dates (long weekends, Christmas, Easter…) minimum stays are established, please contact us.
HOUSE CONDITIONS
– 100% of the stay will be paid upon entering the house.
– LoRefugi reception opening hours are from 5pm (October to March) and from 6pm (April to September).
– LoRefugi reception closes at 11pm.
– Rooms must be vacated at 10am and the time to leave the house will be at the latest 12pm.
– From 11pm onwards, absolute silence will be respected in all the shelter facilities.
– Pets are not allowed.
PAYMENT AND DEPOSIT FOR RESERVATIONS
To formalize the reservation at LoRefugi, we request an advance payment of 30% of the total price of the stay. In specific cases such as long weekends, Easter and special stays, 100% of the stay must be paid in advance.
The rest of the amount of the stay will be paid upon arrival at LoRefugi.
ACCREDITATION AND TRAVELER REGISTRATION
People staying in accommodation establishments located in Catalonia must register there. Article 2 of Order IRP/418/2010, of 5 August, on the obligation to register and notify the General Directorate of the Police of people staying in accommodation establishments located in Catalonia. The national identity document is mandatory from the age of fourteen. Article 9.1 of Organic Law 4/2015, of 30 March, on the protection of citizen security.
At LoRefugi we have an automatic notification service by reading the original ID or Passport. The management of the manual traveler registration, because the client does not have either of the two documents indicated, will involve a supplement of €1 for administrative management.
CANCELLATION OF THE RESERVATION
The client has the right to cancel the confirmed reservation, without any penalty, as long as it is made before 10 days prior to the arrival date, unless otherwise agreed.
Cancellation made by the client within 10 days prior to the arrival date will result in the following penalties, unless otherwise agreed:
– Cancellation up to 48 hours before: 100% of the reservation amount will be charged.
– Cancellation between 10 and 2 days before: 30% of the reservation amount will be charged.
In the event that the client leaves the accommodation days before the contracted date, no amount will be paid by LoRefugi, unless specifically agreed between the parties.
All cancellations will be subject to a €5 charge for management and bank charges.
For cancellations of reservations made between December 22 and January 5, Easter and bank holidays, the amount paid as a reservation deposit (30% of the stay) will not be refunded.
COVID SPECIAL
GENERAL
You will not be able to access our facilities if you have any of the symptoms of Covid-19 or have been in contact with an infected person for less than 2 days.
We wash all sheets and towels at at least 90ºC.
We use an alcoholic solution to disinfect all surfaces, doorknobs and switches.
Before and after all stays we ventilate all facilities, clean and disinfect them thoroughly.
THE GUESTS
In all common areas you will find hydroalcoholic gel, use it to disinfect your hands thoroughly.
In the toilets you will find a bottle of disinfectant liquid, gently spray the space you have used
IMPORTANT
In Cornudella de Montsant there is a Basic Health Area with 24-hour assistance. If you need urgent medical assistance, you can call 112 24 hours a day.
