The experience begins in Cornudella de Montsant , from where you will set off on foot to enter the foothills of the Serra de Montsant , a privileged natural environment that marks the character of the wines. During the walk, you will discover vineyards planted in calcareous soils , with an abundance of pebbles and stone , key elements for drainage, grape ripening and the final expression of the wine. The guide will explain to you in a clear and familiar way the concept of terroir , the grape varieties, the work of the winegrower and the direct relationship between landscape, climate and viticulture.

The route takes you to the Hermitage of Sant Joan del Codolar , an emblematic place located in a spectacular setting. From here, you will enjoy impressive panoramic views over Montsant and Priorat , an ideal moment to take a break, observe the landscape and understand the spiritual and cultural importance of this space, historically linked to hermits and wanderers.

From the hermitage, you will begin the descent following the ancient Camí dels Carthoixans , a historical route that connected the monastery of Escaladei with the towns of the territory. This path will lead you to the Celler Cooperatiu de Cornudella de Montsant , an authentic Wine Cathedral in the modernist style , with more than 100 years of history and considered an industrial monument of great heritage value.

During the guided tour of the modernist winery , you will discover the winemaking process, from the arrival of the grapes to current production, comparing traditional techniques with modern systems. The experience ends with a tasting of three wines made in the same winery , which allows you to add flavor and aroma to everything experienced along the tour.
